Feelings & knowledge

Feelings point at a target: feels <disposition> <target>, where the disposition and its preposition are one unit — despises, hates, dislikes toward, wary of, neutral, likes, trusts toward, devoted to. A block declares at most one feeling per target; a second line naming the same person is analysis.feels-duplicate, on the grounds that two simultaneous readings of one relationship is an authoring mistake rather than nuance.

Knowledge is knows <topic>, <source>, <confidence>. The source says how they came by it — witnessed, told, inferred, assumed, hallucinated — and the confidence says how firmly they hold it: uncertain, suspects, believes, certain. The pair is the point. Something witnessed and certain behaves differently from the same fact inferred and suspected, and rows can read either half.

thinks <fact> is <value>, <confidence>, <source> records a belief about a declared fact's value, which is how one person can be wrong about something the story knows. spreads <topic> to <audience> lets knowledge travel on its own — trusted, allied, or anyone — so a secret told to the wrong person arrives elsewhere without the author scripting the journey.
